A Tour of Several Notable Museums in Scotland, Estonia, and Spain
Zeren Earls will take us with her as she toured the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh, Estonia’s Kumu Art Museum in Tallinn, and Spain’s Guggenheim Bilbao. The National Galleries of Scotland consists of the Scottish National Gallery, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, and the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art. The Kumu Art Museum features Estonian art and sculpture from the 18th century to the 1990s, including the Soviet era. The Guggenheim Bilbao, Frank Gehry’s signature sculptural building in northern Spain, features the spectacle of outdoor site-specific works on the open-air terrace with works within the museum created for one-of-a-kind spaces; Zeren visited this museum during its 20th anniversary celebration.
