Sharing Travel Tales of the Unexpected – WTC Members
“Adventure is just bad planning,” Antarctic explorer Roald Amundsen is said to have been quoted. Yet for most of us, it was the unplanned and unexpected that resulted in the most memorable, often amusing, experiences of our travels. When do we decide to deviate from our itinerary and take advantage of what is in front of us and, thus, change course? Has something ever caused you to take “the road less travelled by”? At this meeting, we hope you will share your travel mishaps, planning mistakes, or other unforeseen occurrences that hopefully had a happy ending. If you know you would like to share a "travel tale of the unexpected," please be in touch with Program Coordinator Blue Magruder <bluemagruder@gmail.com>. We will not set length of time per member until we know how many of us will be participating, but it will probably be ~3>5 minutes. We promise a fun event and a chance for all of us to get to know each other better!
