Behind the Walls: An In-Depth Exploration of Morocco, Part II
Exotic, mysterious, ancient – Morocco is a gateway to western Africa and a country of dizzying diversity and warm hospitality. Located strategically at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, it is a synthesis of many of the best and most beautiful aspects of cultures and peoples from all three continents. Its long succession of rulers – Roman, French, Spanish, Jewish, Arab, Berber – is reflected in its architecture, languages, clothing, cuisine, and culture. And nowhere on the African continent does one find greater extremes in ecological diversity in such a small area. Join Nancy (and four other current or former WTC members) as they continued to explore Morocco from Marrakesh to the High Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate to Erfoud and the Berber Desert.
