A Quest for Snow Leopards in Mongolia – Moira Yip
Moira and four friends went to Mongolia searching for snow leopards and Pallas's cats. They stayed in gers (aka yurts) and searched at altitude in the Altai Mountains for the leopards. They invited local throat singers to come and sing to them. Later they stayed in the east and saw Przewalski's horses. Moira will talk about the stunning landscape, the wildlife, the herding culture, and the fast-changing society.
